The pressure measuring using LTCC technology
Straka, Michal ; Řezníček, Michal (referee) ; Kosina, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problems of the pressure sensor made on a low temperature co-fired ceramics. The pressure sensor converts the measured physical quantity to the electrical signal. The strain-gauge, capacitive and optical sensors are used for scanning of the pressure. It is possible to construct the multilayer sensors with holes and cutouts, through the use of the 3D structure on LTCC sensors. The passive parts can be applied on this layer through the thin-layer or thick-layer technology, which creates conductible paths and contacts for parts and outlets. In the practical part of the work, a few construction types of pressure sensors are designed, implemented and measured. Emphasis is given to strain-gauge strip sensor and possible problems during its manufacture, lamination and deformation of burn-out.
Static analysis of sports hall
Jedlička, Michal ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis is about the static analysis of sports hall in Libina. I have used a program RFEM for making the model. The model was elaborated according to the provided project documentation and valid regulations ČSN EN. The aim of this work is to analyze the real construction and to point out to the formation of possible problems.
Triumph of Ugliness
Kolářová, Monika ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Houser, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor theses is my engagement with phenomenon of body, focused on the theme of beauty and ugliness. Through the Dionysian body type I am trying to capture the weight of physical imperfections. In contrast with the delicacy and subtlety glaze paintings I am trying to achieve a balance between the representatives of the general phenomenon of beauty and ugliness.
Becoming Heaviness: Philosophy of Difference and Metal Music
Volák, Vojtěch ; Švantner, Martin (advisor) ; Marcelli, Miroslav (referee)
Metal music is a term that currently serves as a designation for a plethora of different subgenres. The main goal of this work is to find a process that is shared between given subgenres of metal music. The search is based on the non-essentialist position of Gilles Deleuze's philosophy of difference. For this reason, the first focus of the work is extensive excursion into this philosophy, to which it devotes it's first chapter. In it, through analysis of Difference and Repetition, it creates a thought and conceptual basis for the processual perception of ideas as multiplicities, a position that makes it possible to examine the process of becoming. From this position, the second chapter focuses on metal music and it's main characteristic quality - heaviness, and examines the ways in which music can become heavy. Keywords: Gilles Deleuze, metal music, heaviness, difference, becoming, multiplicity, intensity
